Water testing filtration typically uses membrane or screen filtration to capture particulates, microorganisms, or contaminants from a water sample for analysis. Inline sanitary screen gaskets, like those from Artesian Systems, strain particles at defined micron ratings (5, 20, or 100 micron) to protect instrumentation and isolate target analytes in environmental and drinking water lab workflows.

Artesian Systems offers tri clamp screen gaskets in 5 micron, 20 micron, and 100 micron filtration ratings. The 5-micron option provides the finest particle capture, ideal for pharmaceutical and biotech applications, while 20 and 100 micron options suit food processing, dairy, brewing, and general industrial inline straining requirements.

Available gasket materials include BUNA-N (Nitrile), VITON/FKM, and PTFE/Teflon. BUNA-N is cost-effective for oils, fuels, and mild chemicals. VITON/FKM offers superior resistance to harsh chemicals, solvents, and high temperatures. PTFE/Teflon provides the broadest chemical inertness, making it ideal for highly corrosive or ultra-pure pharmaceutical and laboratory fluid handling applications.

Most models are available in 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 4", and 6" tri clamp sizes, accommodating a wide range of standard sanitary pipeline configurations. Size availability varies slightly by gasket material. Note that PSI service ratings for PTFE gaskets do not apply to connections 1" and above due to cold flow potential.
