These tri-clamp screen gaskets are available in three filtration ratings: 5 micron, 20 micron, and 100 micron. The 100-micron screens provide coarse straining for general protection, 20-micron screens handle finer particulate removal, and 5-micron screens deliver precision filtration for pharmaceutical and biotech applications.

Tri-clamp screen gaskets are available in sizes ranging from 1.5" up to 6", covering the most common sanitary pipeline connection sizes. Specific size availability varies slightly by gasket material and micron rating. Sizes typically include 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 4", and 6" to accommodate a wide range of process piping configurations.

Yes. All tri-clamp screen gaskets from Artesian Systems comply with FDA 21CFR177.2600 and FDA 21CFR177.1550, are approved by 3-A Sanitary Standards, and are USDA approved. They have also passed U.S.P. Class VI Cytotoxicity testing, making them suitable for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and bioprocessing applications requiring strict regulatory compliance.

BUNA-N and VITON/FKM tri-clamp screen gaskets operate across a wide temperature range of -40°F to +250°F, making them suitable for both cold and moderately high-temperature processes. PTFE gaskets offer similar thermal stability; however, PSI service ratings may not apply to PTFE gaskets in connections 1" and above due to cold flow potential.

PTFE/Teflon tri-clamp screen gaskets are not recommended for use with bolted clamps. Additionally, standard PSI service ratings for sanitary clamps do not apply to PTFE gasket connections 1" and above due to the risk of cold flow. Fractional sizes (1/2" and 3/4") are exempt from this restriction due to their recessed, fully contained design.
