Artesian Systems offers PTFE tri-clamp gaskets in a wide range of sizes. Solid and unitized gaskets are available from 1.5" up to 12", while screen gaskets (20-micron and 100-micron) are available from 1.5" to 6". This range accommodates most standard sanitary tri-clamp piping configurations found in brewery and processing facilities.

An envelope gasket features a PTFE outer shell wrapped around an EPDM filler core, combining PTFE's chemical resistance with EPDM's elasticity. A unitized gasket uses a one-piece, internally bonded PTFE and EPDM construction that reduces component movement and improves installation stability, making it better suited for systems where consistent seating is critical.

Yes. The standard 1550 PSI sanitary clamp service rating does NOT apply to connections 1" and above when using PTFE-based gaskets, due to the risk of cold flow and creep under high pressure. This restriction does not apply to fractional 1/2" and 3/4" connections, which use a recessed, fully contained design. PTFE gaskets are also not recommended with bolted clamps.

Artesian Systems' PTFE gaskets have a shelf life of 10 years from the cure date. They should be stored in original packaging in a clean, dry warehouse at temperatures between 65°F and 85°F. Keep gaskets away from direct sunlight and at least 6 feet from electric motors to prevent degradation of the elastomer components over time.
